LAKE MANGONIA
West Palm Beach
Lake Mangonia is located in the City of West Palm Beach and is part of their
city water supply. It is fed by the L-8 canal. Water flows from Lake
Mangonia into Clear Lake. No one is permitted to use gasoline or powered
outboard motors on it.
It provides about 540 acres of water sports recreation. Both of the canals
feeding into/from Lake Mangonia can be rowed into, but the L-8 canal at the north
end is blocked after about roughly 325 yards.
Regardless of where the wind is coming from, there is always a shore which is
protected on Lake Mangonia. The boat ramp at Lake Mangonia is on the east
shore in the 2900 block of Australian Ave, less than 1.5 miles south of the Town
of Mangonia Park.
NOTE: Clear Lake is off limits to recreational activities!
